A little over a week ago I was in Newfoundland where I visited Canada’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Site: Mistaken Point.
Mistaken Point is home to the oldest multicellular fossils in the world, dating back 550,000,000 years. The outline of soft proto plant type creatures can clearly be seen in layers of the exposed rock.
