Stuffed Carved Bell Peppers; for those wanting to get their #Halloween on, #sugarfree, #glutenfree, veg-packed, #plantbased style! This is my recipe from last year, though you’ll find other older versions going back to 2012. Sure to please veg-loving diners of all ages… and the carving is optional, of course! Mega love to @bestofvegan and Jess @choosingchia for featuring the smoothie bowl from the other day. Seriously love y’all and what you do !
Todays local shout out goes to @rustyrascals for being not only the hippest new barbershop café in #Stockholm, but for being super nice (holla @kennysolomons & @simonsamaeng) & giving Louie a swanky lil dude cut (see @missmarzipan_moments). And a shout out from afar to @hellolunchlady magazine for producing one of the most beautifully designed & put together print pieces I have seen *in years*! I confess, I used to be a magazine fanatic. In a storage box somewhere, I have a collection of vintage women’s mags from the 1940s, original issues of The Face (circa 1980), and even a copy of the 70s punk zine Sniffin’ Glue (long story!) among many others. And I still *vividly* recall picking up a copy of i-D magazine’s Hyperreal issue circa 1991. I was (very) young, impressionable and instantly enamoured with the art direction & layout. It was a kind of mental turning point for me, creatively speaking! Having said that, it has been *years* since I have truly thoroughly enjoyed flicking through a magazine, and my copies of Lunch Lady arrived just in time for a coffee break with a big ol dash of inspo. I can’t recommend this magazine enough. So if you’re tired of the glossies, if you want to submerge yourself in heartfelt + inspiring interviews, family-friendly food ideas or stunning design, you really should check it out!
Big love from Stockholm
