Here’s another look at my Roasted Garlic CALIFORNIA ROLL
I love the flavor of garlic. It’s as recognizable to me as salt and pepper and even more useful in my opinion. When preparing sushi, I like to place it at the front of the flavor profile by roasting it which yields a more fragrant and robust flavor.
Inside the roll:
Outside the roll:
1 sheet seaweed paper
1/4 cup- Cooked sushi rice
TIP: when rolling make sure you keep both thumbs on the bottom of the bamboo sushi roller while securing the ingredients inside the roll with the rest of your fingers. Make sure the initial tuck and roll is tight, then pick up the end of the sushi roller and keep rolling the sushi (about 3-4 tuck and rolls)
