Homemade strawberry smoothie! I was craving a Dairy Queen blizzard BUT decided I should opt for something just a little bit healthier. I like to buy these clear plastic cups to make me feel like I’m working in a coffee shop again… I always make at least two smoothies (hubby, kids, and I) at a time so the following is my recipe for ?️ (when I say cup I am referring to the clear plastic cup I use- you can use whatever size you want to- mine are 18 oz): ️1 cup frozen organic strawberries ️1 cup of cubed ice ️Milk of your choice- I use organic dairy milk this pregnancy- but feel free to use whatever works for your body! ️3/4 cup Greek Vanilla Yogurt ️ Organic sugar, to taste Add 1 cup of ice to a blender FIRST. Add 1 cup of strawberries on top. Fill milk almost to top of ice. Top with Greek yogurt. Blend until the top folds in- stop and stir if you need to and add more milk if you need. Add sugar to your taste! Don’t add any if you don’t need to! These have been my treat for the past couple of weeks thanks to my daughter asking if I could make #strawberry smoothies for her! Noah seems to love them to! I just can’t beat this view from our deck in #alaska. Feeling on top of the world right now! ? #pregnancy #smoothies #mountains
