Hot Cross Oats by @sobeautifullyraw For the oats; 1 cup oats 1.5 cups soy milk 1 tbsp ground flax 3 tbsp coconut sugar 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1.5 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp cloves 1 tsp cardamom 1/2 cup sultanas Zest of 1/2 orange 1 scoop of your favourite vegan protein (I used a vegan cookie dough protein ball mix) ** optional 1 tbsp of the cashew frost mixture (recipe below) Heat over a medium heat until oats are cooked through. Add a little more plant milk if needed. For the cashew cross; 2/3 cup cashews 1/4c maple syrup 1/3 cup soy milk 1/4 c melted coconut oil Blend in a high speed blender until lumps are gone and chill for 15 mins in freezer before piping.
