I am so excited to announce that for August’s challenge I’ll be teaming up with my yoga friend @jennybarneszink to bring you #armbalancebuilding! Arm balances have been a long and difficult journey for me, so if they feel impossible to you, trust me when I say I understand! If you are curious about arm balances, struggle with them, or just want to get more practice with them, this is the challenge for you! We are going to take a series of arm balances and break each one down into its core elements using other, more typical asanas. We will work on one element per day to build up to each balance. Each balance day we will encourage you to play around with the pose AND include a strengthening flow alternative to help you build strength for arm balancing. So YES, this challenge is (arm balance) beginner friendly! This challenge is not about crazy poses, it is about breaking these postures down to their elements and building them up to give you the tools to tackle these empowering asanas! ???? ????
