If you saw my story then you know I squeezed in a short workout today… shorter than I expected it to be. (What can I say, I like junk food?) I get motion sick really easily and I eat anything I see that I think MIGHT make me feel better. It usually backfires and today it totally did… I got sick as hell during/after this workout BUT I still worked out and plan to tomorrow as well. If you don’t have weights or access to a gym that is OKAY! You just need to be willing and able to move your body. My workout today consisted of
50 single jumps (jump roping)
40 air squats
30 step ups (as seen here)
20 alternating lunges
10 push ups
400 meter run
x2 – I fully intended to make this 3-4 rounds but physically my body said no. I was so sick from the crap I ate… my legs were still wobbly after this workout and I don’t feel anything like I failed. There is always tomorrow.
I love these workouts I can use my body weight with and how easy they are for me to do while traveling. But let me tell you something- I totally conquered a fear of working out in front of people in public today. The old me would NEVER have run anywhere in front of anyone… today I ran outside in #seward #alaska and I didn’t have a care in the world. Can’t wait to see what I come up with for tomorrow!
