In the Basque language “Kalejira” means to go around dancing and singing, breaking the line between the performer and the audience. Latin Grammy-award winning artist Kepa Junkera (@kepajunkera) and all-female group Sorginak brought the significance of this word to the Folklife Festival during an evening concert on the National Mall.
