Observation. A hugely important skill that I am trying so hard to improve on. I took this photo the other day when I was spraying the brassicas. I saw these beauties thought about how big and perfect they look. This morning I learnt that looks can most certainly be deceiving. The underneath of their leaves and inside are infested with aphids. It made harvesting incredibly lengthy and there was so much waste involved. If I had taken a closer look from the ground level as opposed to taking a photo then I would have taken extra time to ensure I’d sprayed under the leaves more thoroughly. Always lessons to be learned, usually always the hard way. Like stacking the full crates in the vehicle properly so you don’t lose them on the way back to the shed and squash most of the bunches. Like this morning #doublewhammy
