On Monday afternoon, hundreds of friends and colleagues gathered at Carnegie Hall to celebrate the life of Bill Cunningham. The memorial’s invitation encouraged guests to “dress for Bill,” which for some meant sporting the bright blue of Mr. Cunningham’s iconic French worker’s jacket, or arriving in outfits that expressed their personal style.
