{Staff Takeover} Every day, I learn about new, contemporary artists in the Des Moines Art Center’s collection. In this photo you can see a beautiful sculpture by Carl Milles called “Man and Pegasus.” It is incredible how balanced this sculpture is knowing that the man is only connected to the Pegasus just by his foot!
I digress. The other reason I want to show this photo is because it a beautiful view at the Art Center that showcases all three of the architects! The horizontal bricks featured the Eliel Saarinen building, the large concrete looking middle part is by I.M. Pei, and the white square architecture is by Richard Meier. All thee architects under one building make this place a beautiful place to work. #DMACStaffTakeover
