The last presidential debate will be here in Las Vegas — appropriately enough, not because the election is a gamble but because of climate change, an issue that hasn’t been discussed very much and debate planners haven’t put on the agenda. But most of Nevada is a drought-induced natural disaster area, and Las Vegas is third on the list of US cities most threatened by climate change. The city’s dependence on tourism makes its economy as fragile as a desert environment, and you only need one question to bring the subject up: is it hot enough for yah? with @anamariecox
