These were our faces when cake was brought out after 237 previous courses during that day I think we should stop comparing our world to everyone else’s. The second we scroll through social media, we immediately set ourself up for disappointment, criticism and comparison within ourselves. It’s inevitable, and really the only way to stop that (without ditching our phones), is by making a conscious decision to be happy with what we have right now. I can only speak for myself, but filtering the people that I follow made a drastic change to my days. Having uplifting people in your real life, and in your virtual world, is more important than anything. Not just to inspire the good days, but also to uplift the bad ones. Think about it some more, are your ‘role models’ creating a positive change?
