Took the munchkins to Shake Shack tonight. I wasn’t sure what the plan for dinner was, so just because it was quick and already prepped at home, I packed a repeat of lunch. When it was decided we were going to Shake Shack, where I’d never been, I decided that I would maybe get a veggie burger or something if they had it. Their only option was a fried mushroom type burger so I decided to just chill with the kiddos while they ate. I did sneak 3 French fries (which I looked up and tracked: 2sp). I had my packed dinner at home after they went to bed…with more banana peppers that I was given as leftovers from today’s party cause no one else wanted them. Score! I don’t want anyone to ever have this false belief that because I handled two tricky situations today pretty well that I’m “cured” or never slip, because I do. I’m just trying to fully commit to focusing on the Beyond the Scale program as Christmas approaches.
