We visited a #refugeecamp in northern #Greece called #Sinatex with journalist @anna.pazos. She, together with the organization #BêSînor, put on a film workshop for the teenagers at the camp, who mostly spend their days sitting around due to the lack of schools. “The idea is to get them to shoot, write, and act in a #film about whatever they decide. There was some drama and some comedy, but mostly stories about people running away from their homes, living miserably in tent camps, and then deciding it is ‘better to die in the sand in #Syria than living without divinity in Europe.’ There was also the story of the man whose wife escaped to Germany and then he was unable to change his children’s diapers,” recounts Pazos. Take a look at what life is like in the Sinatex #refugee camp in our Instagram Story #opentheborders #refugeeswelcome
