Working for yourself and managing your time and energy…Ack! SUCH a hard thing to do. My client Z and I figured out how she could better manage her time last week. Since it was my #1 challenge when I started working for myself, I wrote about it here. Full link in bio.
It’s actually a huge deal for people who work for themselves because being your own boss is TRIP. There are so many balls to potentially drop, and the only way I learned was trial & error. The key is to be SPECIFIC: specific about where you want results but don’t have them yet, and specific about what solutions you want. It takes guts to grow, and building your path/brand/business is a GREAT way to do that: without asking, you’ll get opportunities to look directly at things you usually avoid but that are required for you to go through to get to the next level.
Turns out managing your SELF first makes time management much easier. I outline 5 ways Z and I saved time writing her blogs, creating content, and being consistent in her work. If your schedule and general work life stress you out, here are ways to cut down time, NOT quality. Let’s be productive AND feel proud of ourselves, babycakes.
